In order to apologize for the fiasco in the millinery shop, Dolly persuades Irene and Minnie to "allow" Cornelius and Barnaby to take them out for a night on the town at the fashionable Harmonia Gardens Restaurant. Cornelius and Barnaby are broke and try to weasel out of it by saying they don't know how to dance and Dolly presents him a business card: "Dolly Gallagher Levi--chief clerks taught to dance"

When Cornelius and Irene are finally paired up and dancing together--there's definite romance in the air.........
